Kariyappa B Cafe

First of all there are many restaurants that charge too much , but food tastes well below average. Well, this is not one of those! The fish fry that we ordered was delicious. But the fried rice could have been better. Me and my gf particularly enjoyed chocolate banana pancake. So why the 4 stars then? The tables could have been better quality and cleaner. It was not sturdy. As for atmosphere, it was beach view....so, obviously good!

This is very AWESOME place to enjoy your holidays & work from home as well. This cafe is hardly 50 meters from seashore. I really liked the place & enjoyed a lot the Sea breeze, Sunset, sound of the waves, good food sitting on a recliner type of chair at fencing of Kariappa B Cafe. It was a nice full screen display, A lovely view. They serve different type of Food Varieties (multicuisine) with a great hospitality & excellent service; all charges are also very reasonable. The Manager & main Chef Shankar Anna is really a humble guy. He prepares very nice food. Mainly, he worked for Russian restaurant for 13 years, so you need to specify for more spiciness while ordering the food. He & his staff mainly a guy named Mahabaleshwara (MahaB) makes sure your stay here will be comfortable & unforgettable. He also allowed us to prepare Modak (Maharashtrian Sweet) at his kitchen (on request). Rooms are very good, clean & pocket friendly. Overall, this is "THE BEST" Cafe in Gokarna to hangout & return with the positive vibes & happy minds. Highly recommended!!

Lucky to have met Mr.Shankar and his wife and enjoy their homely cooked meals always served with a smile. It is peak monsoon season 15-17th July we were lucky to have Kariyappa cafe close to our accommodation.We ate all our 3meals for the 2 days that we stayed in gokarna. The lemon honey ginger hot tea was delicious in the cold monsoon (we had 5 glasses each)weather along with onion pakoras and cheese toast. We were so busy polishing the food off in the cold rainyl weather that nobody in our group clicked photos of the food. We also had aloo paratha, panner paratha, prawn tava fry, chilli Gobi, fried rice..each one of the dishes was freshly cooked, seasoned well and yummy. Our favourite breakfast was fruit salad with muesli and curd. I would highly recommend this place for the yummy food and the beautiful view overlooking the ocean. Thank you for your kind hospitality Mr.Shankar and homely cooked food.

We had a unexpected stay here for two nights but highly satisfied. Its a beach front huts, its very simple and compact to stay. Food is the most amazing part and they serve all type of cuisines even alcohol is also available. Quality and Quantity of food wont make you to disappoint. Extremely satisfied and worth every penny. The owner of this property Shankar is a very kind and cool guy.

Awesome stay and view the man Sankar tooked complete care & provided required things there itself. Room price compare to others it bit low food was nice.i will recommend for couples friends to visit here

Excellent atmosphere.. beautiful beach view in Cafeteria.. Friendly and helpful staffs. Good food with delicious and tasty, very very near to access beach area. You can stay in beach whenever u required in mid night time too.

Service and food are really super. Comparison with other food and room cost is low and service is high. I liked it. Really nice hospitality shown by the cafe.

The product quality is consistently outstanding and exceeding my expectations every time. Room mainatened very well and clean. The Owner Shankar is humble and very supporting. We stayed here for 3 days and we really enjoyed . Highly recommend
